Swimming Lessons @ Twenty-Six

Image
Is it too late to post this as summer is already over? Nah. Just like how it is NOT too late for me to learn how to swim at age 26. Ever since I dated my man who grew up on an island and who jumps off cliffs unto the water with no hesitations, I realized that I am discounting my life with real experiences just because I don't know how to swim. Later on, I tried surfing and even enrolled in intense surfing lessons for six weekends but still not took myself to swimming lessons. I can't even back float. Sucks. So to do myself a favor and not fool my body-loving water, I enrolled in Bert Lozada Swim School (BLSS) end of May this year. It was good news that they hold lessons in a college near by my house in Lipa City. The BLSS site in Lipa City Colleges And wow, what an endeavour! Swimming lessons are no joke specially if you are not physically active like myself. The intense training was definitely new to my body, however it's not too much to handle. It's actually a very go

[Music] True Colors | Zedd

I've been anticipating the second studio album of Zedd (real name, Anton Zaslavski) for a while now. Ever since I heard his work on the "Divergent" movie soundtrack (ugggh, "Find You"), I have been so amazed by him. Fast forward to this year, there was a rumor that Selena Gomez (my queen, hehe!) and Zedd were dating and they are to release a collab which turned out to be "I Want You To Know" (IWYTK) which I played like everyday. You know, it's my jam! IWYTK And now, the album is out and what a feast to ear! I listened to the whole album, and it instantly became my go to playlist when I needed to zone out and just enjoy the company of myself. The musicality is so layered that every time I listen to it, I would pick up on something new in terms of beat (oh, wow that drop was nice!) or something deeper on the lyrics. Zedd has showned his true colors in this album, and boy they are beautiful. xx, Belle.

[TV Thoughts] Game of Thrones | S05, E08

Fanart Song Of Ice And Fire Game Of Thrones By Isa by AliceLuisa23 (Tumbler) True to my words on the blog description, I am now writing this blog post to over discuss Game of Thrones' latest episode - Season 05, Episode 08. Spoilers Ahead! Where The White Walkers At? When I first saw GoT, I was actually discouraged a bit 'cause the opening scene was like for a horror story. There were zombie like creatures that killed off some humans in the first scene. Except that those zombie look-a-likes has blue eyes, crystal blue ones. I later learned that they are called White Walkers. White Walker from the S01, E01 "In that darkness the White Walkers came for the first time. They swept through cities and kingdoms, riding their dead horses, hunting with their packs of pale spiders big as hounds." Given this early and dramatic appearance, I was expecting that the GoT scenes will always include them. So, I was wrong... Five seasons later, I've seen White Walkers only a few tim
